With strong proficiency in languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, React, and experience with technologies like Expressjs, MongoDB, and typescript, I am confident in my ability to contribute to the development of complex and scalable software solutions.
I have learned a lot working on both assigned and my own programming projects. In my most recent project, a partner and I built an ecommerce site that sold retro video games. I used Python to create the api's, and MySQL to manage the database. I learned how to effectively collaborate with a partner, virtually, and how to integrate programming languages, frameworks, and design principles to build a functioning site. Another project I work on continually is this site, which runs on remix.js, TypeScript, and vanilla CSS.
I have honed my ability to work in fast-paced environments, think critically, and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. As a Registered Nurse and Medical Scribe, I gained experience working collaboratively with hospital doctors and staff to provide acute care to patients and educate them and their families on health-related topics. Similarly, as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician in the United States Navy, I performed inspections, maintenance, managed tool inventory. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, adaptability, attention to detail, and effective communication in high-pressure situations.
